Red Canyon Turbines

This video shows there are many turbines, far and close, on the way to Lubbock, Texas on US-84. It was fascinating to watch these blades circling around the air. It almost mesmerized me but I had to focus on the road!!

I visited Amarillo back in 1997. I didn’t recall the turbines there then.  I was in total awe of them being present when I was driving to Lubbock on March 8.   When I came home, I googled it up.  It was called Red Canyon Wind Farm and it was completed in 2006.  No wonder it was explained that I didn’t remember them before.

See the ground move, not clouds. That is awesome how it turns out.

I am specializing in landscapes however my interests are in the horizon into family portraits, senior portraits, sports, events and whatever catches my eye, I shoot.
